As Karnataka’s Bengaluru grapples with a spate of rain and floods that have thrown the city into utter chaos, the political honchos of the state are engaged in a game of upmanship. While the ruling BJP is blaming the Congress for the floods in India’s Silicon Valley, the Opposition has passed the buck to BJP’s “failure”.
Former Karnataka CM and Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Siddaramaiah tweeted: “#NammaBengaluru is now drowning due to your failure. It is time to remind you of the promise to make Bengaluru a world class city with modern infrastructure! With IT Capital submerged, what is your solution?"
