
Aryan Khan and Aachit Kumar played online poker, chats not about drugs: Lawyer tells court

The NCB had vehemently opposed the bail plea of Aachit Kumar. His lawyer has argued he used to play online poker with Aryan Khan and their WhatsApp conversations were not about drugs.
The special court under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has reserved it's order on the bail plea of Aryan Khan's friend Aachit Kumar.
Kumar's bail plea was argued by advocate Ashwin Thool, who said that it was a case of illegal detention, and that the agency is unnecessarily trying to label him as a drug peddler while he was only found with small quantity of drug which was to be used for personal consumption.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
