In an exclusive interview with India Today, Arpita Mukherjee's driver Pranab Bhattacharya confirmed that multiple vehicles under her name have been missing for the last three months. He added that he was in charge of driving her around in the Honda City but was never allowed to drive the remaining cars.
He said Partha Chatterjee used to visit her sometimes and he had seen the suspended minister entering her house when he would get off from work.
Bhattacharya further said the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also questioned him regarding the case. "I was present when ED officers came. They told me to sit inside and made me wait. They took my phone and asked me about Arpita's whereabouts," said Arpita's driver.
He added that he gave the ED officers his contact number and will visit them whenever he is summoned.
