Army soldier injured in encounter with terrorists near LoC in Jammu and Kashmir

Defence sources said Army launched a search operation after presence of armed men was confirmed near the LoC in Sunderbani town of Rajouri. A soldier was injured in the firing after an ecounter broke out.

An Army soldier was injured in an encounter between terrorists and security forces near the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani town of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir late Tuesday night. A defence spokesperson on Wednesday said that input was received regarding the presence of a group of suspicious armed persons near Dadal village near the LoC following which search ops were launched.
