Andhra Pradesh Police arrested TDP leader P Narayana in connection with a class 10 exam paper leak at his institute in Tirupati.

Chittoor Police on Tuesday arrested Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader P Narayana in connection with a class 10 exam paper leak at Narayana School in Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati, owned by the former minister. Nine people, including government school staff were arrested in connection with the case.

On April 27, District Educational Officer filed a complaint when he found out that the SSC exam paper was being circulated in WhatsApp groups by unknown persons. He reportedly received an image of the question paper through a reporter and he tallied with the original Telugu question paper.

After commencement of examination, some unknown miscreants ,who had access to the question paper, could have shared the images in the WhatsApp groups, thereby indulging in criminal breach of trust and malpractice of public examinations. This was an attempt to get all students passed.
