The Telugu Desam Party chief and the leader of the opposition in Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, has tested positive for Covid-19.
N Chandrababu Naidu, leader of Andhra’s opposition issues a tweet confirming that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and was experiencing mild symptoms. The TDP (Telugu Desam Party) chief issued a statement on Tuesday, January 18. I've tested positive for COVID with mild symptoms. I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions.I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest. Please be safe and take care.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
