Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy releases second tranche of YSR Aasara scheme

Releasing the second tranche of YSR Aasara scheme, Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said his government has helped women's groups to stand on their feet.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday released the second tranche of YSR Aasara scheme and said his government has helped women's groups to stand on their feet.

Speaking at a programme in Ongole area of Prakasam district, CM Jagan said, "Initiatives like YSR Aasara, YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam, and YSR Cheyutha are helping women from self help groups to come out of debt and stand on their own feet and support their families. Today, when we checked how many NPA (non-performing asset) loans exist in women's self help groups, only 0.73% were found."
