
Alwar gangrape case: Rajasthan police stops BJP delegation from meeting Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

BJP leaders sat on dharna and started shouting slogans against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot–led government and also asked Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi to go back from Ranthambore.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delegation, that went to Ranthambore to meet Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra over the alleged gangrape case in Rajasthan, was stopped by police on Thursday.
The delegation was stopped by Sawai Madhopur district police at the Sherpur helipad.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
