Allahabad HC grants bail to Kashmiri students arrested for raising pro-Pakistan slogans

The three, students of an engineering college in Agra, were arrested in October of last year for raising pro-Pakistan slogans following the Pakistani cricket team's victory in a T20 World Cup match.

The Allahabad High Court has granted bail to three Kashmiri students accused of raising slogans in support of Pakistan following the Pakistani cricket team's victory in a T20 World Cup match.

All three individuals, students of an engineering college in Uttar Pradesh's Agra, were arrested on October 27 of last year in connection with the case.

This was days after a case was lodged against them for raising slogans in support of Pakistan after the Pakistani cricket team's victory in a T20 World Cup match on October 24.

A chargesheet was registered against the three students. They were booked under relevant sections of the IPC on charges of sedition and cyber terrorism.
