Alia Bhatt wore an ivory cape pantsuit for an event in Doha that instantly reminded us of Deepika Padukone.

Alia Bhatt inaugurated the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition in Doha, Qatar on Monday. Must we add, she made a striking and uber-stylish appearance! However, her sartorial choice managed to steal attention for more than one reason. Apart from being utterly stylish, the outfit that Alia wore for the event also reminded us of Deepika Padukone. Yes, you read that right.

Alia Bhatt channelled her inner Gangubai and wore an ivory pantsuit with a cape blazer. Deepika Padukone wore a strikingly similar ensemble in 2019 when she unveiled her wax statue in Madame Tussauds museum in London. Don’t believe us? See the pictures here:

As for Alia Bhatt, the diva opted for an ivory blazer featuring a full-length cape. The crisp and well-tailored blazer also featured sharp lapels and front button details. She wore it with matching high-waist pants with flared hem. Her minimal yet dazzling jewels set comprising a dainty pair of earrings, a statement necklace and rings instantly amped up the glam quotient of her look.

As for the makeup, she swore by her go-to dewy base that was accentuated with pink blush, illuminating highlighter, defined brows, balmy pink lips and mascara-coated eyelashes.
