
AIADMK cadres to elect leaders for top posts, Sasikala asks them to 'stay strong'

A day after AIADMK announced that party cadres would now vote to elect leaders to the top two posts, Sasikala wrote to party cadres asking them to stay strong.
A day after the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) announced that party cadres would now vote to elect the party's coordinator and co-coordinator on December 7, Sasikala wrote to party cadres asking them to stay strong and not lose hope.
Claiming that several selfless people had worked hard to build the party, Sasikala stated that she is distressed to see the party being utilized by a few for their own personal gain.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
