The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to upgrade Taj Mahal's security next year.

Additional director general (ADG) Vinod Kumar Singh told India Today TV that the police staff posted in the yellow zone of the monument is being sent for commando training so that they can take quick action in case of any untoward incident or any attack on the Taj Mahal. The UP Police will also deploy anti-drone devices in the yellow zone to prevent any drones from operating in the area and, if necessary, even capture and destroy them. Information boards prohibiting drone flying will be put up near hotels for foreign and domestic tourists.More Related News
