Arun Valmiki died in police custody on Tuesday night after he was arrested for allegedly stealing Rs 25 lakh from the godown of Jagdishpura Police Station in Agra, where he used to work as a cleaner.
Kamala Devi, the 70-year-old mother of Arun Valmiki, who died in police custody on Tuesday night, wept and pleaded with Priyanka for help when the Congress leader went to meet the family on Wednesday night.
Arun died in police custody on Tuesday night after he was arrested for allegedly stealing Rs 25 lakh from the malkhana (godown) of Jagdishpura Police Station in Agra, where he used to work as a cleaner.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
