
After SC refuses to urgently hear petition to open temple in Jharkhand, BJP MLA protests with damru

BJP MLA Narayan Das arrived at the Jharkhand Assembly premises with a damru on Tuesday to demand that the Baba Baidyanath temple be opened. Earlier on Tuesday, the Supreme Court had rejected a request for an urgent hearing in the matter.

He can be seen chanting 'Har Har Mahadev' with the group of people that accompanied him in a video posted by ANI on Twitter.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
