Veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu admitted to Continental Hospitals in Hyderabad with body pain, anxiety, and injuries from a scuffle.
Veteran actor and former Rajya Sabha member Manchu Mohan Babu was admitted to the emergency department of Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli in Hyderabad on Monday (December 10, 2024) night. He was brought in with complaints of diffuse body pain, anxiety, and a history of loss of consciousness.
Hours earlier, Mr. Mohan Babu was caught in a fracas when journalists tried to speak to him and one of the journalists suffered injuries. The actor was summoned by the Rachakonda commissioner for posing threat to peace.
According to a statement from the hospital, Mr. Mohan Babu was attended to by specialists and underwent a comprehensive medical examination. He was found to have a blunt injury below his left eye, high blood pressure, an increased heart rate, and irregular heart rate fluctuations.
Currently, he is under the care of a team of specialists, including cardiologists, neurologists, and plastic surgeons, for close monitoring and observation, according to the statement.
