A woman is suing Crispin Glover, after she alleges the "Back to the Future" actor assaulted, illegally evicted and filed a false restraining order petition against her.
The unnamed woman, an 30-year-old former British model with autism spectrum disorder, says the actor and filmmaker spent several years of messaging her and eventually "lured" her to Los Angeles in early 2024, with the promise of a place to live and a job as his assistant, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday, Feb. 25, in Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by USA TODAY Thursday. But she says once she arrived, he tried to force her to work for free as his "live-in girlfriend/sex slave."
USA TODAY has reached out to Glover's reps for comment.
Glover and the woman allegedly met through social media in 2015, and continued to communicate for nearly a decade – during which she alleges she was being "groomed" – before meeting in Dresden, Germany, where the actor "showed off several items of Nazi memorabilia from his collection."
The woman says that after moving in around early 2024, she was subjected to abuse, including attempts to control where she went and who she talked to. In one alleged incident in March 2024, after the woman visited a mosque against his wishes, she says when she returned, he locked her out and grabbed her neck and choked her, leaving a scar. A picture of a bruise on her neck is included in the lawsuit.
