Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the action taken by the BJP against Nupur Sharma was not due to any pressure from outside.
Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Tuesday said the action taken by the BJP towards former party spokesperson Nupur Sharma was not under any pressure. He added, “We cannot justify what she said. But that is not terrorism. Beheading people is terrorism.”
Naqvi was speaking at the India Today Conclave East in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Naqvi also said, "Nobody supports what Nupur said, but people can’t cut other people's throats for it. We are a secular country."
