Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs staged a protest outside Delhi’s L-G Vinai Kumar Saxena office on Thursday, September 1 over the Sangam Vihar case where a man allegedly shot and injured a 16-year-old girl for ghosting him online.
Delhi Police have barricaded the entire lane. AAP MLAs are not allowed to march to the L-G Office due to barricading.
The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested the man who allegedly shot the 16-year-old girl.
The accused, along with his two aides, shot at a 16-year-old girl on her way back from school in the Tigri area of South Delhi, ghosting him on social media.
The accused, identified as Arman alias Amanat Ali, was absconding following the shooting incident.
Ali, who has been charged with attempted murder, told the police that he came in contact with the girl via social media.
The girl, a class 12 student, was coming home from school when she was shot at in South Delhi's Sangam Vihar area last Thursday (August 25).

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
