It is in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar, a colony that was originally planned for the refugees who came from Pakistan after Partition. Now, it is also home to Afghans who had to flee their homeland. Little Kabul’s history lies in the Cold War that loomed over the world for about half-a-century. That Cold War saw the Soviet Union invading Afghanistan in 1979, triggering a refugee crisis.
