Governor S. Abdul Nazeer welcomes President Droupadi Murmu at Gannavaram Airport for AIIMS convocation, tight security in place.
Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has extended a warm welcome to President of India Droupadi Murmu at Gannavaram International Airport, in Krishna district on Tuesday (December 17).
The President was here to participate in the first convocation of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Mangalagiri in Guntur district.
The Krishna, Guntur and the NTR Commissionerate police have made elaborate security arrangements for the President’s visit to the State.
Security has been beefed up at the airport and at AIIMS, the police said.
