One of the last few living freedom fighters in Kolkata, 98-year-old Kartick Chandra Dutta has been invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day. Government of India will felicitate the freedom fighters on August 15. However, the veteran will not be able to visit due to health-related concerns. Kartick Chandra Dutta is not in a great condition to have a full-fledged conversation, he spoke to India Today and shared his story of the freedom movement.
