8 dead after vehicle falls into pond in Bihar’s Purnia

At least eight people died after their vehicle fell into a pond in Bihar’s Purnia.

As many as eight people lost their lives after their vehicle fell into a pond. The incident took place in Bihar’s Purnia district late last night.

At least 10 people were travelling in the vehicle, out of which two have been rescued.

"Eight bodies were recovered. They were coming from Tarabadi and going to Kishanganj when it happened. Two people were safely rescued. The bodies are being sent for postmortem", said the police.
