Eight people died and three were left wounded in a car accident in UP's Sidharthnagar on Sunday.
At least eight people were killed in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Sidharthnagar on Sunday when an SUV with 11 people on board collided with a parked truck. The car was returning from a wedding procession.
Eight people died in the accident while three were seriously injured. They were referred to the district hospital in Gorakhpur.
The accident took place near Jogia Kotwali area.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
