
7 arrested in shooting of hero dad who shielded kids at NYC dealership

Seven men were arrested in connection to the shooting of a hero dad who was struck as he shielded his kids from gunfire at a Bronx car dealership last year, cops said Friday.
Six of the suspects — Tahari Pritchard, 20, Dorien Alexander, 20, Daijon Crawford, 21, Aaron Heredia, 21, Zykeith Fearon, 21, and Akeyle Baker, 22 — were busted Wednesday and charged with attempted murder, police said. Another suspect, Hasani John, 22 — a known Bloods gang member — was busted back on March 5 and charged with two counts of assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said.
