Family of a 6-month-old girl has alleged that she was given nine doses of an expired antibiotic injection at the Shopian district hospital.
A 6-month-old girl who was suffering from pneumonia was allegedly given nine doses of an expired antibiotic injection at the district hospital in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Mohamad Iqbal Khataria, a resident of Shopian’s Devpora area, told India Today TV that four days ago he admitted his daughter, Bazila Jan, at the Shopian district hospital. Bazila was diagnosed with pneumonia and the doctor prescribed antibiotic injections that were to be provided by the hospital itself.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
