
6 BSP MLAs, 1 BJP MLA join Samajwadi Party in presence of Akhilesh Yadav

Six rebel MLAs of the BSP and one BJP MLA officially joined the Samajwadi Party on Saturday in the presence of party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
Six Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLAs and one Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA joined the Samajwadi Party on Saturday in the presence of its national president Akhilesh Yadav at party’s state headquarters in Lucknow.
The BSP MLAs who are joining SP are Aslam Raini, Mujtaba Siddiqui, Aslam Ali Chaudhary, Hakim Lal Bind, Sushma Patel, and Hargovind Bhargava.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
