At least five tourists from West Bengal were killed and 15 injured in a road accident in Uttarakhand's Bageshwar district on Wednesday.
At least five tourists were killed and 15 injured in a road accident in Uttarakhand's Bageshwar district on Tuesday. All five deceased were from West Bengal.
According to sources, the tourists were returning from Kausani after roaming around Munsiyari. One of their vehicles overturned near Betop drain of Farsali. The vehicle following it collided with it and fell into the gorge.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
