
5.8 magnitude earthquake strikes off Japanese coast

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan on Wednesday morning and the rumblings were felt in the host city of the Summer Olympics.
The quake hit at about 5:30 a.m. about 75 miles off the coast of Hasaki, which is about 80 miles to the east of Tokyo, according to the US Geological Survey. Other minor tremors followed the initial earthquake, according to the agency.More Related News
