
4 dead, over dozen injured after truck hits bus in UP's Barabanki

Four people died and over a dozen were injured after a truck hit a bus in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki on Saturday.
A truck collided with a double-decker bus carrying migrant workers in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki, killing four and injuring more than a dozen others.
The accident occurred near Mahungupur in Barabanki on Saturday morning.
The double-decker bus was carrying Nepali migrant labourers to Goa when one of its tyres got punctured. The bus driver then parked the vehicle on the side of the road and was in the process of changing a tyre when the speeding truck hit the vehicle from behind.
Meanwhile, the injured have been admitted to the district hospital and the bodies of those who died sent for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
