Three men were killed while two others were left critically injured after a truck rammed into a pickup container parked on the roadside on Rewa-Prayagraj National Highway 30.
Three men lost their lives while two others were left critically injured after a truck rammed into a pickup container parked on the side of the road on Rewa-Prayagraj National Highway 30.
The incident happened near Sohagi Pahad, when the three men, who worked as mechanics were engaged in the repairing work of the container.
Suddenly, a speeding truck rammed into the pickup container parked on the roadside. Under the impact of the collision, men got stuck in the wheels of the truck, following which they died on the spot.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and the three men were taken out from under the truck wheels and the bodies were sent for post-mortem, whereas two others severely injured in the accident were taken to a civil hospital for treatment. However, their condition is still stated to be critical.
While the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, further investigation into the case is underway.
