
3 firms, directors linked to Sachin Vaze under the scanner since his arrest

After the arrest of suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze for his alleged involvement in placing the explosive-laden SUV outside Mukesh Ambani's residence, his business association with several companies have come under the scanner of investigative agencies, sources said.

India Today TV has learnt that Sachin Vaze has been associated with three companies as directors. The other directors of these Thane-based firms are also under the scanner and are now being investigated about the businesses they carry out. The transactions of these firms are also under scrutiny. One of the firms is Diginext Multi Media Limited, which was incorporated on September 27, 2011. It's authorised share capital, when the firm was incorporated was Rs 5 lakh and its paid-up capital was also Rs 5 lakh. The firm has been involved in the manufacturing of television and radio transmitters and apparatus for line telephony and line telegraphy. The total business carried out by this firm is not yet known.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
