A 26-year-old woman was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by two men at gunpoint in Maidan Garhi in Delhi.
A 26-year-old woman was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by two men at gunpoint in Maidan Garhi in Delhi. Police have filed an FIR and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
The victim, who works as a caretaker, used to live in a rented house in Fatehpur Beri area.
The matter came to light when the victim approached police on August 30 to file a complaint against the accused. In her complaint, she said that the incident happened on August 26 when she had gone to the temple. A man carrying a gun threatened her and took her to a deserted area, where his friend was also present.
They both raped her one by one. The accused also looted a gold chain from her neck.
While the victim is now being counselled, efforts are on to nab the accused.
