
20-year-old stabbed by friend after argument over girl in Delhi, 1 injured

A 20-year-old boy was stabbed to death in an argument over a girl by his friend in Delhi. The victim’s 21-year-old brother was also injured in the incident. Police collected evidence against the accused, and are in the process of arresting him.
A 20-year-old boy, identified as Prince, was stabbed to death by his friend following an altercation regarding a girl in Delhi’s Malka Ganj area on Sunday. The victim’s brother, 21-year-old Mihir, was also injured in the incident. The accused, identified as Sidhharth, is absconding and police are hunting for him.
Police received information from Hindu Rao Hospital at 11.20 pm that Mihir, a resident of Malka Ganj and his brother, Prince, had been admitted with stab injuries by their cousin Nitesh.
Officials reached HRH Hospital, where Prince had been declared dead during treatment and his brother Mihir was under treatment.
Upon enquiring with the cousin, officials discovered that the victim had been stabbed by his friend, Sidhharth, who lived in the same area as his victim.The incident had taken place at about 8.45 pm. The accused, Sidhharth, stabbed the deceased and his brother several times after an argument had taken place between them regarding a girl.
Legal action has been initiated against the accused. The crime team was also called to the spot. CCTV footage was also collected and officials are attempting to trace the absconding accused.
Further investigations are underway.
