2 UP residents arrested with country-made pistols at Jawahar Tunnel in Kashmir

The Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested two people from Uttar Pradesh with a country-made pistol in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday arrested two non-local residents at the Jawahar Tunnel in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. Police recovered a country-made pistol from their possession As per details, the duo, identified as Mohammad Danish Sadeeqi and Naushad, are residents of Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. They were travelling in a vehicle when they were intercepted by Kulgam police at the Jawahar Tunnel. Police officials said that during the search of their vehicle, one pistol, along with 16 rounds, were recovered from their possession.
