
2 dead as speeding car hits bike, scooter before crashing into divider in Gujarat

The out-of-control car first hit a scooter and a motorcycle before crashing into a divider. Two people died in the horrific car accident in Gujarat.
Two people were killed and two others seriously injured after a speeding car ran them over in Gujarat's Gandhidham. The horrific incident took place on Friday night.
The police said the car driver lost control of the vehicle, which then struck several other vehicles on the road.
The out-of-control car first hit a scooter and a motorcycle before crashing into a divider. Visuals from the scene show the vehicle mounted halfway onto the divider, its front end mangled. The impact was so severe that the tyres burst, flinging the occupants onto the road.
Apart from the driver, there were three other passengers in the car. Following the accident, one of them was caught and thrashed by the locals as the group tried to flee the scene.
The passenger was later handed over to the police. The other three, including the driver, managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
Earlier this week, a speeding garbage collection truck rammed a two-wheeler in Ahmedabad. Two people were injured in the incident after they were flung nearly 15 feet on impact.
