19-year-old travelling on footboard of moving train falls to death in Chennai

A 19-year-old college student died after falling off the footboard of a moving train in Chennai.

A 19-year-old college student fell off a moving train and died. He slipped while he was standing on the train’s footboard. The deceased has been identified as Neethi Devan from Thiruvalangadu, a student of BA (Economics) at Presidency College.

He was rushed to Thiruvallur Government Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

Southern Railways regretted the accident. The Divisional Manager advised passengers to look at the incident as a reminder and avoid performing stunts.

Meanwhile, a video of Neethi Fevam performing dangerous stunts along with his friends has now turned viral.

The video shows college students hanging on the windowpanes of the moving trains.
