Eight to 10 bike-borne miscreants attacked shot and injured Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers at Kamarhati in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Saturday.
A Trinamool Congress (TMC) worker was shot at Kamarhati in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Saturday night. Another worker was hit with a revolver during the attack that took place around 10 pm. Eight to 10 bike-borne miscreants attacked three TMC workers at a party office in Kamarhati's Deshapriya Nagar. Among them, middle-aged Manas Bardhan was allegedly dragged out of the office before bullets were fired at him.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
