At least one labourer was killed while four others were injured after a slab of an under-construction building collapsed in the Wanwadi area of Pune on Monday afternoon.
A labourer was killed while four others sustained injuries after a slab of an under-construction building collapsed in the Wanwadi area of Pune on Monday.
As per PTI reports, the incident took place at around 3 PM at an under-construction site where a commercial complex is coming up, said Deepak Lagad, inspector, Wanwadi police station.
It was when workers were engaged in work at the site that a slab structure caved in, leaving at least five workers trapped under the debris.
Soon, the injured were rushed to a hospital, where one of them succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
A case has been registered into the matter and further investigations are on.
