Zika virus case reported in Kerala, 24-year-old woman in Thiruvananthapuram infected

A 24-year-old woman from Parassala in Thiruvananthapuram has been found infected with Zika virus. The woman delivered her baby on June 7.

A 24-year-old woman from Parassala in Thiruvananthapuram has been found infected with Zika virus, state health minister Veena George said on Thursday. The woman, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital, began showing symptoms on June 28.
