Zee Tamil's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5 and Vijay TV's Startup Singam Season 2 bring musical talent and entrepreneurial stories.
After a captivating and talent-packed season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs, Zee Tamil is back with the fifth season of its flagship music reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors.
The grand finale of the popular singing show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs recently concluded on the entertainment channel, with actor Sivakarthikeyan announcing Divinesh as the winner.
Television audiences are in for yet another memorable season as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5 recently began on a grand note. A wave of musical talent is sweeping across television screens, with the contest witnessing the participation of an overwhelming number of aspiring singers from nearly 35 towns and cities across Tamil Nadu. In the audition, 12 contestants were shortlisted in the first week.
One of the most special moments of the episode was when actress Devayani’s elder daughter, Iniya Rajakumaran, performed on stage. The judges unanimously selected her based on her performance. When their blindfolds were lifted, they were surprised to see Ms. Devayani sitting beside her daughter.
“I want my daughter to move forward in the contest based on her own efforts. This stage is not something that comes easily. It has created many winners, and I am proud that she begins her journey here,” said Ms. Devayani.
The audition episode also featured veteran actor T. Rajendar as a special judge, bringing his signature energy to the show. In the upcoming episodes, participants will face various challenges that test their musical range and performance skills. They will be mentored by a panel of judges comprising playback singers Vijay Prakash, Srinivas, Shweta Mohan, and Karthik. The show airs every Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m.
Another show that premiered to a strong viewer response, Startup Singam, will return with a new season this November on Vijay TV and Jio Hotstar, showcasing 75 curated startups across 26 episodes.
