Yuzvendra Chahal's father tests positive for Covid-19, admitted to hospital with severe symptoms: Dhanashree Verma

Yuzvendra Chahal's wife Dhanashree Verma also said she had felt helpless during her stay in the IPL 2021 bio-bubble as her mother and brother had tested positive for Covid-19. She said both of them have recovered from the infection.

Yuzvendra Chahal's parents have tested positive for Covid-19 and his father has been admitted to a hospital with "severe symptoms", the India cricketer's wife Dhanashree Verma said in a social media post on Friday. Chahal's mother is being treated at home for the infection, she added. Dhanashree Verama, in an Instagram post, said her mother and brother also tested positive for Covid-19 when she was with Yuzvendra Chahal in the bio-bubble of Royal Challengers Bangalore during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 which was suspended due to positive virus cases across multiple franchises.
