IPL 2026: KKR fans erupted in anger after bowling coach Dwayne Bravo was spotted at CSK's event, raising questions about divided loyalties amid a mounting injury crisis at the franchise.
Kolkata Knight Riders fans have erupted in anger after team mentor Dwayne Bravo was spotted attending the Chennai Super Kings' fan event. This comes at a time when his own franchise is battling a mounting injury crisis ahead of the new IPL season.
Images and videos of Bravo at the CSK event in Chennai quickly spread across social media. The reaction from KKR supporters was swift and fierce, with many questioning the West Indian legend's priorities at such a critical juncture for the franchise.

The timing could not have been worse for KKR. With several key players sidelined ahead of the season opener, fans expected their support staff to be fully focused on managing the squad's fitness and bowling preparations. Instead, Bravo's presence at a rival team's celebration event left the KKR fanbase deeply frustrated. The evening featured former CSK stars, current players, and a live performance by AR Rahman.
Among the injury list includes their lead pacer, Harshit Rana who is expected to be ruled out for most of the season. In addition, reports have surfaced regarding Akash Deep's availability for the season while Matheesha Pathirana has yet to be given the No-Objection Certificate by the Sri Lankan cricket board.
Head coach, Abhishek Nayar expressed that they have been evaluating their options but have yet to make an official decision. In addition, he also highlighted that Pathirana is expected to be available to play from mid-April.
