Yusuf Lakdawala firing case against Chhota Rajan closed

A closure report is filed when an investigating agency believes that it does not have enough evidence to proceed against an accused.
A special CBI court in Mumbai has accepted a closure report filed by the agency against underworld don Chhota Rajan in the case related to a firing incident on builder and film financier Yusuf Lakdawala in 2001. 76-year-old Lakdawala gave his no objection to the closure report. The court said, “The accused, Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje alias Chhota Rajan be released in this offence as per Section 169 of the CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code). The accused to furnish PR Bond of Rs 50,000.”More Related News
