Young boy in hospital fighting for life after crash on Longwoods Road

Police say a young boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash late Monday afternoon just south of London.
Emergency crews went to the scene of the crash in the area of Longwoods and Murray roads shortly before 4 p.m. A pedestrian was involved, police said.
All involved parties remained at the scene. Longwoods Road was closed between Colonel Talbot and Kilbourne roads for a period of time.
The London Police Service traffic management unit is investigating. They're asking anyone who may have dash-cam footage or video surveillance in the area of Longwoods Road near Murray Road between 3:45 to 4:05 p.m., or information that may assist with the investigation, to contact them.
