Yankees prospect Oswald Peraza on ridiculous home-run tear
NY Post
It might be time to bounce a pitch toward Oswald Peraza to see if he hits that for a home run, too.
The highly regarded Yankees prospect has homered on each of the last three pitches he has faced for the High-A Hudson Valley Renegades. The incredible streak, which includes four home runs in his last nine at-bats, began when he pulled a 2-0 pitch over the left-field fence in the ninth inning Thursday night and continued in spectacular fashion Friday. Peraza, a shortstop, didn’t start the game – a routine day off, according to the team – but entered the outing as a defensive replacement in the seventh inning after an injury to outfielder Steven Sensley. Peraza homered on the first pitch of both his at-bats, including a go-ahead two-run shot that had him leaping out of the batter’s box in a 9-4 win.More Related News
