Yankees are running it back — and that’s going to be a good thing
NY Post
The Yankees are bringing back virtually the very same team that won 94 regular-season games but ultimately disappointed their expectant fans, many of whom buy into The Boss’s famous claim that anything less than a World Series win is a failure.
There’s certainly no guarantee they will become World Champions after failing to do so 16 straight years. And being due — or in this case way overdue — isn’t a real analytic.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.
