
Yankees discussing Delino DeShields trade as outfield injuries mount

The Mets aren’t the only New York team in need of an outfielder. The Yankees are shopping as well.
According to The Athletic, they have talked to the Rangers about Delino DeShields Jr. with Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Hicks and Ryan LaMarre all on the Injured List, and Clint Frazier slowed by a stiff neck. The 28-year-old DeShields has played parts of six major league seasons with a career OPS of .666 and batting average of .246.
