Sunil Gavaskar was all praise for Shubman Gill on the first day of the World Test Championship final.
Shubman Gill was instrumental in giving India a good start on Saturday in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand and batting great Sunil Gavaskar was all praise for him. Gill put up a stroke-filled 62-run opening partnership with Rohit Sharma before dismissed for 28 runs by fast bowler Neil Wagner. "He has the temperament to become a great player," said Gavaskar in the commentary box. While Gill is yet to score a Test century, he scored 91 in India's second innings at the Gabba during the fourth Test against Australia earlier this year. The innings was instrumental in India recording a historic win at the venue and thus sealing victory in the series.More Related News
