WTC final: Guile of R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja is something we need to be prepared for - Henry Nicholls

WTC final: New Zealand batsman Henry Nicholls has said that Indian pace unit possesses quality but his team should be well prepared for spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin. India and New Zealand will play the summit clash from June 18 in Southampton.

Indian pace unit consisting of Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are equally talented as their New Zealand's pace trio of Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Neil Wagner but Henry Nicholls is more wary of the threat from spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja during the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final stating June 18 in Southampton. India and New Zealand are already gearing up for the summit clash at the Ageas Bowl which is known to aid the slow bowlers for a considerable period of a Test match. “India have a very good seam attack and also have the experienced spinners like Ashwin and Jadeja. They have been consistent in all parts of the world (of late) and bring quality (to attack),” Nicholls, who has been in good form of late in Test cricket, told PTI in an interview.
