Woman charged for fatal stabbing in city's west end

Police have charged a London, Ont. woman with second degree murder for the death of a 27-year-old man.
Police were called to Forbes Street, west of Wharncliffe Road South, at around 9:50 a.m. ET on Friday in relation to reports of a stabbing. They found a man with life-threatening injuries who later died in hospital, police said.
The victim has been identified as Terry Labon Albert Junior, also of London.
As a result of the investigation, 33-year-old Christine Marie Bishop has been charged and remains in custody.
Bishop is set to reappear in London court at a later date.
The Rachel Notley government's consumer carbon tax wound up becoming a weapon the UCP wielded to drum the Alberta NDP out of office. But that levy-and-repayment program, and the wide-ranging "climate leadership plan" around it, also stood as the NDP's boldest, provincial-reputation-altering move in their single-term tenure.
